Testing enterprise systems by day. Crocheting, coding Python, filming walks in 4K, and reviewing books by night. Certified storm spotter. Self-taught since 1994.
Born and raised in California, I taught myself HTML and CSS in 1994 - back when nobody quite got that. A 7-year detour through Kansas somehow turned me into someone who genuinely loves weather. No regrets there.
Work eventually relocated me to New Jersey, where I got certified as a storm spotter for the National Weather Service — because of course I did. Then work moved me to Texas. An experience I'd rather not revisit. The good news: I'm heading back to California, where I'm excited to finally be able to see my great niece.
Career-wise, I'm a Senior Consultant at Infosys, leading large-scale testing initiatives for Tiffany & Co. and Sally Beauty's enterprise systems. Before that, I spent years climbing the ladder at Verizon Wireless and picking up software testing certifications along the way.
Outside of work I crochet afghans, teach myself Python, film 4K nature walks, review books, and slowly learn piano. Basically, I collect hobbies. It's fine.
